Seward Urban Farm

Problem: Design an Urban Farm and Conference Center on the former Bystrom Industrial site on the edge of the Seward Neighborhood.
Solution:  The Design focuses on the farm animals, and community integration.   The Conference Center Program is lifted to allow unobstructed pedestrian access accross the site as well as additional space for the livestock.  The majority of the site is devoted to the livestock giving them as much space a possible.  The community is drawn into the site from multiple directions.   The bike path along the west side of the site is drawn in to allow passers-by a view of the production facility and grazing areas.
